Senior Content Specialist

Job Summary

As a Content Creator specializing in corporate communications, investor relations, and internal band, they will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's narrative and strengthening our relationships with stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include crafting compelling content across various platforms to effectively communicate our key messages, engage investors, and reinforce our brand identity with investors & stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with organizational goals and target audience preferences.

  2. Content Creation: Conceptualize, create, and produce high-quality, engaging content across various formats including articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, podcasts, social media posts, and more.

  3. Editorial Oversight: Ensure all content maintains brand voice, style, and messaging consistency while adhering to established editorial guidelines and best practices.

  4. Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to content creation team members, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

  5. Content Calendar Management: Plan and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to align content releases with marketing campaigns, product launches, and industry events.

  6. Content Optimization: Monitor content performance metrics and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimization, implementing strategies to enhance reach, engagement, and conversion rates.

  7. SEO and Keyword Strategy: Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to maximize content visibility and organic search rankings.

  8. Content Distribution: Develop and execute distribution strategies to promote content across various channels including website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and third-party publications.

  9. Content Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, product, and sales to ideate and create content that supports overall business objectives and initiatives.

  10. Content Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  11. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content creation, digital marketing, and storytelling techniques, incorporating new insights and innovations into content strategies and executions.

  12. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and solicit feedback, ensuring alignment and buy-in throughout the content creation process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, English, or a related field (preferred).

• Proven experience (3-5 years) in content creation, copywriting, or a similar role, preferably in a digital marketing or creative agency setting.

• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and AP style.

• Strong creative and strategic thinking with the ability to ideate and develop original, engaging content concepts that resonate with target audiences.

• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with SEO principles to optimize content for search visibility and audience engagement.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and drive project success.

• Experience with social media management platforms and an understanding of social media best practices to create and distribute content across various channels.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze content performance metrics and leverage insights to inform content strategy and optimization efforts.

• Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of content formats and styles, including articles, blog posts, social media posts, infographics, videos, and more.

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic, evolving industry landscape, with the flexibility to pivot strategies and approaches based on changing market trends and client needs.
