Business Development Manager

Job Summary

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for conducting physical meetings with our clients to effectively present and promote our products, identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with clients, and driving growth for the company. They analyze market trends, develop strategic plans, and implement effective business strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Meetings: Deliver outdoor presentations to prospective customers to showcase and promote our products.

2. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and evaluate market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

3. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.

4. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering appropriate solutions.

5. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.

6. Proposal Preparation: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients, highlighting the company's products or services and their benefits.

7. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and close deals with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.

9. Pipeline Management: Manage and update sales pipelines, tracking progress and forecasting sales projections accurately.

10. Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand professional contacts and stay abreast of industry developments.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field.

- Average of 3 years of experience in the business development field (preferred in insurance or fintech) .

- Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and services.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
